Book fragment

Laura is scared of dogs. Of all dogs in the world.

She is especially afraid of those huge dogs she sometimes sees in the street. Though they just look at her with curiosity, the girl things they are staring with threatening eyes as if they were about to break free from the leash at any moment and jump on top of her. She also runs away from small dogs that look like tender and harmless toys because she is afraid of their barking when she passes by.

She doesn’t care if her parents and friends explain that they are not going to harm her and that they just want to play. If it was for Laura, dogs would not be allowed to walk around the areas where she walks.
