This French book of engravings, of an unknown author of the last decade of the 14th century recalls the story of the Suevian- Galaic prince Ponthus, son of the king of Galicia, who was forced to leave his country after the invasion of Galicia and the assassination of his father, King Thibour, by the Saracens.

He lived in exile in the Breton kingdom, in France and fell in love with the beautiful Sidoine, daughter of the king of Brittany, who is also related to the kings of England and Ireland. After Ponthus marries his beloved Sidoine, he will have his own goal of reconquering this kingdom of Galicia, occupied by the Saracens and defeat the Muslim King Broada, his father’s assassin.
