About this book

This is not a pleasant story –the authors already acknowledge this --, but its goal is not to preach, either, but to delight readers with an irreverent, grotesque and politically incorrect story. In fact, it is a harsh critique of our society, where success is the guiding principle and where competition is imposed on individuals over other values such as cooperation and solidarity.

The author and illustrator reinvent the fairy tale of the “Three little pigs” and invert the roles of the characters so that in this version of the fable, it is the wolves who are followed by the pig.

This tragicomedy is a warning about what we can become when, since childhood, egotistic and individualistic values are imposed on us – a society characterised by mistrust, revenge, envy and unhappiness.

Book fragment

Once upon a time there were three little wolves who were sharp, well-behaved, generous, clever and terribly annoying. They worked as top managers in a multinational company…

…Everything would have been happiness, harmony and a boring life for this trio if it was not for a disgusting and unbearable pig who had wanted to take revenge on them since their school years.
