This is the story of Xiana, a very special daisy. She is always curious about the great mysteries of life and amazed at the wonders of nature. But this is also a story about friendship, about the need to acknowledge that we are learning and that we can learn even in the most surprising places. It is also a story about the importance of will to attain our objectives, as long as our hearts want to.

Xiana was a very beautiful and young flower living in a garden, which was surrounded by a very high wall. One fine morning, Xiana unfolded her petals so that the sun could caress them. It was a beautiful spring day and Xiana got ready to admire that huge round orange wheel that every day rose slowly in front of her. It looked like those balloons she had sometimes seen kids play with, but for some reason that balloon did not disappear in an eternal journey, but for long stayed static, hanging from the same place and then, slowly, it went up and then went down again over that blue ceiling, and it was the same everyday. It brought light and warmth and whenever it disappeared ,coldness and darkness came.

Around it many flowers grew: daisies, roses, tulips, white lilies, pansies, geraniums, hydrangeas, bougainvillea… all of them were beautiful but… Xiana, she was special… It was a daisy of blue petals with droplets of orange, a strange gift of nature. She was outstanding, as all the other daisies wear white, and they looked at her with mistrust and gossiped all the time.
