ashy light mixed
with the waters of this time that bring you back
to the matrix of time.

birds of foam
flying over suicidal throats.

concave word
like a haunted body
or the almond of treason.
in this blind husking
in the folds of the origin,
i foretell to the root of the sign
a question.
night knows of the salty certainty
that keeps trains away from the mirrors of insomnia.

we are time
or the memory of what we’ve lost.

we are what forgetting
allows us to possess:
the word that reaches your eyes
the wind that scatters the leaves
all over the blank page
of absence.

who left in your gaze
that immense solitude inhabited by questions?
who filled with dark echoes
deep in nostalgia
the rooting of a missed tempo?
who made me walk back that hurt voice
who brought as an answer your pranks,
and why in the despair of this path
did my feet find their comfort?
