Contos galegos de tradición oral

This is a collection of traditional Galician tales gathered by professor Noia in an interesting compilation for those who are interested in oral traditions or in the study of ethnography or language variation in Galician. These tales were gathered in the last years of the 20th century, as they are in the memory of different respondents, and they make an interesting contrast with the drafting of the same stories but present-day story-tellers in the media. The book includes a lengthy introduction and references to previous publications, and each story is listed under the work of Aarne-Thompson.
